Snow Report: Kapka

From the riders who rode Kapka today...."fantastic"!  8-12" of fresh and well groomed.  Also good @Wanoga/Moon  Mtn.   ....  know of some folks who are gonna ride Waldo from hwy. 58 tomorrow (sat.) they looked at the snow from the snowpark.  Said quite a bit of "fresh".

Windigo Snow Report

Windigo Pass Snowmobile Report:

Our Grooming Pgm. Chairman Mark Bolton did an "eyes on" and "flagged" the East side of an across the road "washout" of the 60 Rd. on the East side of the pass about 3 miles "down" to the East from the top of Windago Pass.  NO QUESTION it is NOT possible to cross thru this area between Crescent Lake and Lemolo Lake/Diamond Lake.  Mark has also notified the Crescent Ranger Dist. office of the Deschutes Nat'l. Forest and they've contacted staff who will likely proceed up there to evaluate and decide what can or cannot be done.  IN THE INTERIM YOU ARE ENCOURAGED NOT TO GO NEAR THIS SPOT. 

Mark also adv. that snow conditions up there are "slim" to "none" in several places.  NOT a good ride!  "Carbides" hittin' gravel; etc. ..... 

As more info. is available, we'll letcha know.

Bread Bakery
